June 26 is the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit
Trafficking. Established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1987,
this day serves as a reminder of the goals agreed to by Member States
of creating an international society free of drug abuse.As part of it Meridian Public School conducted Rally, Distribution of pamphlet and speech.

On the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse and
Illicit Trafficking on 26-06-2013 (Wednesday) school students chalked out an
action plan for the year ahead to fight the drug menace.
School Chairman K .Kunjalavi Haji inaugurated observance of the day organised
jointly by the Social science and
Science clubs at Meridian Public School , Pandallur . School Principal Mr.K.
Abdul Rasheed said anti-liquor clubs have
major role in our society.Teachers conducted
awareness classes and interactive sessions for the children.
